What Are WhatsApp Sending Limits (Tiers)?
When your WhatsApp API number is opened, it usually starts with Tier 1 (1,000 unique users per day). As your business grows, this limit may not be enough.
Tier Levels
- Tier 1: 1,000 unique users in 24 hours.
- Tier 2: 10,000 unique users in 24 hours.
- Tier 3: 100,000 unique users in 24 hours.
- Tier 4: Unlimited.
How Does the Limit Increase? (Automatic Upgrade)
Meta automatically increases your limit, but you must meet these conditions:
- Quality Score: Your score must not be "Low" (Red).
- Volume: You must have sent messages to half of your current limit (e.g., if you have a 1000 limit, to 500 people) within 7 days.
Strategy: If you want to increase your limit, divide your broadcast campaigns into several days to push your current limit, but be careful not to lower your quality score.
